Canada’s Charter of Rights was supposed to, but did not, have marriage equality.

Instead of adulting into rights, I became a women with rights until I was an out lesbian, when I lost all rights.

For those Lesbians and Gay men who were purged from 1950s to 1992 from the federal service to those marginilized until :Joshua Birch won gays and lesbians, and to a degree, bisexuals, the right to serve in the military, which was before couple survivor benefits – Egan and Nesbit – and Brian Mossop for civil service equal benefits. and the many couples who tried and those who won marriage equality and divorce equality…
